Notarization Process

In order to proceed, we will need the following information:

  1. A complete copy of the document(s) to be notarized.

  2. The number of signers required for each notarial act (including witnesses).

  3. The full legal name of each signer.

  4. An email address for each signer, and possible phone number in the event of technical issues.

  5. The full legal name, email, and phone number for the party who will be responsible for payment.

The above requested information can be provided at the time of scheduling, if you are scheduling your appointment online. Once all required information is received, each signer will receive an email to begin the ID verification process. Our office will be notified once all signers have completed the ID verification process, and we will proceed with your notarization at its scheduled time, provided that the ID verification process is completed prior to your scheduled appointment.

For Notarial Acts Requiring Multiple Signers:

  • All signers MUST be present for the remote notarization. Please know in advance of scheduling whether or not signers have the ability and availability to sign at the same time. We will not be able to move forward with a single signature, if the document requires multiple signers at once. If signers are not able to sign at once, then each signer should schedule his or her own appointment.

  • If the document requires multiple signers, but the notarial act for each signer can be completed separately, then this information should be shared during intake. Each signer must make his or her own arrangement to schedule notarization.

Payment

If you are not scheduling online, please provide the full legal name, email, and phone number for the party who will be responsible for payment. Such party will be invoiced once the required documentation and information is received. The cost is $4.00 for each notarial act.

Please feel free to contact us, if you have any questions about the remote notarization requirements or process.
